How many lessons do I need?
In Ireland, you must complete 12 Essential Driver Training (EDT) lessons with an ADI before booking your test.
What is the N-Plate?
Novice drivers must display N-plates for 2 years after passing their test. The alcohol limit is lower for Novice drivers.
Can I drive on motorways?
Learner drivers are NOT permitted on motorways. You can only drive on motorways after passing your test.
